• Always log in as Administrator while resolving an error

Solution 1:

• You have to close the Point Of Sale before starting to resolve the issue

• Click Start in windows type Services.msc, and then press Enter

• Configure Intuit Entitlement Service. To do so, follow the given steps

i. Double-click the Intuit Entitlement Service v#. (If there is more than one, choose the highest number version)

ii. Click the General tab, from the Startup Type field and select Automatic and make sure the Service status is Started

iii. Now Go to the Log On tab

iv. You have to Select Local System Account and Allow Service to Interact with Desktop

• Configure QBPOS Database Manager

i. Double-click the QBPOS Database Manager X (where X is the highest number listed)

ii. Go to the General tab, select Automatic from the Startup type field and ensure that the Service status is Started

iii. Now Go to the Log On tab

iv. You have to Select Local System Account and Allow Service to Interact with Desktop

v. Now Click Apply and Click OK

• Now try to open the company file in QuickBooks again. (Hope you succeed in this operation. If not follow the next solution)

Solution 2:

• You have to Open Point of Sale.

• From the Start Company screen, select create a new company and then click Next.

• In the Company Name field, you have to type Test and click Create

• Open the Test file

• Choose File and choose Company operations and click Next

• Now Select open existing company and choose your company file and click Next

Note: If this test fails, you have to Perform a Clean Re-install of Point Of sale
